MULHER MARAVILHA DE PORTO PIM
FLOATING PERFORMANCE
artistic direction: Colectivo Trilhos

artistic direction and performance.

Presented at Festival Maravilha, Horta, Faial, Azores. July 2021.

From the tales written by Antonio Tabucchi, ancient reports of travelers in Faial and Pico, other stories and poems, the « Woman from Porto Pim » is reinvented by Colectivo Trilhos, presented in a show created from scratch for the floating stage of Porto Pim at Festival Maravilha. This new « Wonder Woman » of Porto Pim, now embodied in a volcano, will reveal herself by discarding the traditional cloak that covers her, erupting and releasing her lava, her blood. Accompanied by two kurokos that transport and discover this woman, this marine performance takes place in a dreamlike, disturbing and explosive universe.  / + INFO
